Education:
Kelly M. Davis
was admitted to practice law in the State of Texas in 1999. She
earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southwest
Texas State University in 1995. After college she attended the
Lawyer's Assistant Graduate Program at Southwest Texas State
University and received her certification as a Lawyer's Assistant.
Following graduate school, she enrolled at St. Mary's University
School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.
In May of 1999, Ms.
Davis earned her Juris Doctorate degree.
In 2004, Ms. Davis
received her basic civil, commercial and family mediation training
from the National Mediation Academy, Inc.
In 2004, Ms. Davis
received her arbitration training from the National Arbitration
Academy, Inc.

Although Ms. Davis
specializes in construction litigation, she has a general practice
which includes handling all problems from corporate inception to
dissolution, partnership formation and disputes, real estate law,
consumer litigation, contract disputes, and appeals.

President of Davis Dispute Resolution Services (“DDRS”)
DDRS is the first
privately owned, full service Alternative Dispute Resolution center
in Denton County. DDRS provides negotiation, mediation and
arbitration services in all areas of civil litigation with an
emphasis in Construction, Family, Employment, Contracts, and
Business Disputes.

In 2004, Ms. Davis
was admitted to the College of the State Bar of Texas, whose members
comprise less than six percent of all attorneys licensed in the
State of Texas. College members are required to attend at least
thirty hours of Continuing Legal Education each year.
Ms. Davis has also
been a speaker for many groups including homebuilder’s associations,
realtor associations, builders,
vendors and subcontractors, local mom's group's, daycares, local financial advisors,
women’s investment group, retirement and assisted-living
communities.
Ms. Davis speaks
frequently on construction related legal issues as a guest on the
Master Builder radio show servicing Parker, Tarrant, Wise, Hood,
Erath, Somervell and Young counties
